We had the most enjoyable evening with volunteer with india.Amazing class, chef and an amazing experience.my kid is now a fan of home made food.. We learnt so much from our chef . We made delicious vegetable dishes and learnt how to make chapati and Marsala tea. We can’t wait to go back home and make these dishes for our friends and family! My partner and I really liked this experience! Raveena and her husband (and family) are extremely welcoming. She is the sweetest teacher and explains everything in great detail. From spices and how to cook them, to why to use the ingredients she chooses (oils or flour, for example). We cooked in a ‘small’ kitchen, but she explained that they have a bigger kitchen for large groups where everybody fits. Also, the driver was very punctual and gentle in his driving. The whole experience was filled with a great positive vibe, and the food was delicious! We highly recommend it.

Really great experience! Sharda was very kind and spoke great English. We cooked together and she explained all the steps while showing us tips and tricks to help our own cooking. We took a break to have some amazing chai tea and then finished cooking. The dishes we made were delicious!!! Highly recommend this cooking experience! The cooking class takes place in Sharda’s apartment, which makes it feel very authentic! The apartment is super clean and nice!

I plan to take more classes every time I’m in India. She was a great teacher and tells you quick and easy ways to make dishes. Really enjoyed her class. The class is taught out of her house so it’s cool to see inside an Indian home. We were able to adjust the menu a little bit to our taste and made a delicious. We cooked a huge meal and then got to enjoy eating it all together. Highly recommended cooking class.

She is an excellent cook. Her food is tasty and delicious. This is an amazing hands-on cooking experience. You will be guided step-by-step by her. We learned to make different dishes and parathas in one session, with practical hands-on tuition. We will have to go back for another lesson to make kulfis. An invaluable most enjoyable experience!

Sharda welcomed us into her home and we had a lovely time learning how to cook 5 different dishes with her It was without a doubt the best meal we’ve had in India.
Sharda is very knowledgeable and very kind. Her English is perfect, explaining everything to us very clearly and answering our many questions.
This experience is an absolute must for anyone in the area. We’ll definitely be back when next in Jaipur, we only wish we had a longer stay here to go back and learn more!
Thanks again for a lovely evening.

Wow, what a great class! We requested to learn two of our favorite dishes, channa masala and bhindi masala, and we felt like we could succeed at making them on our own after our time with Chanda. Such a wonderful host with a great home. Rohit from VWI Tours who stayed with us during our lesson was a joy to chat with also. Highly recommend if you have the time in Jaipur.

We were picked up promptly from our hotel and arrived at Komal’s place, where we learned how to prepare rice pudding, chapattis, daal and paneer. The kitchen was hygienic and we’ll equipped and we had fun learning how to prepare lunch. We also learned the Hindi names for several food items, which was a nice touch. We ended with sampling a delicious lunch and highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to learn more about Indian cooking!

We had some free time in Jaipur and we went into TripAdvisor to find interesting yet quick things to do in the city. Surprisingly we found this amazing proposition. We were arranged to have a cooking class for two in the same day, with Sharda, a beautiful Indian mother. We will never forget it. Sharda is super kind, so as her husband and the tour operator as well. Would love to repeat this in the future. Highly recommended for foodies like us 🙂

This was a great experience. Had an awesome time chatting with the family and learning how to make basic Indian dishes. Turned out that the meal we cooked was the best I’ve had (better than restaurant by a mile) in India. Highly recommend this activity if you have couple hours free.
Christophe– :

We had a lovely time learning some amazing Indian dishes with the family. They were all very friendly and we had some great conversations about food, culture and life in general. Another unexpected highlight was flying kites on the rooftop as the sun set! We ate before the family ate, and next time we would love to eat together with the family. All in all, a really fun experience.
mitchjone– :

We had a great time learning then eating how to cook vegetarian Indian meals and Masala tea!
Everything is well organized, they pick you up and bring you back after.
The best part of it is definitely the host and our guide Rohit, they speak English and we had very interesting discussions with both of them.
Rohit helped us to get around and also gave us very good advice. He’s trustworthy, caring and truly is a good person!
Would recommend to everyone!

I really enjoyed this demo, which is what it was rather than a hands on session, which I would have preferred. The food made was really delicious so I picked up some good tips. Considering the cost and included transport it was really good value. I was the only person attending so it would have been better if others were there. They are such a lovely family with a lovely home so I would recommend.
